How selling works
Open your seller account
Sign up in two minutes with your email. Founding sellers pay a 0% seller fee for their first 90 days or 10 sales, whichever comes first.
Photograph the bottle
Front, back label, the batch code on the bottom, the batch code on the box, and a side shot against a light so the fill line shows.
Describe it honestly
Pick the condition, slide the fill level, type the batch codes, and say whether the box and cap are included.
Set your price
The pricing guide below shows what similar bottles sell for and the price per ml. Buyers can send offers, and you decide.
Ship by ground
Perfume is flammable, so it travels by ground only. Wrap the bottle in a sealed bag with an absorbent pad, box it snugly and mark it Limited Quantity.
Get paid
Your payout is released three days after delivery, or sooner when the buyer confirms the bottle is as described.
Pricing guide
A quick way to a fair price, built from what buyers compare: the new retail price, how much is left, and what else is listed.
Start from the retail price
Find what the same size costs new at a major retailer. A sealed bottle usually sells for 70 to 85% of that.
Adjust for fill level
Multiply by the fill level. A 100 ml bottle that is 60% full holds 60 ml, and buyers compare price per ml across listings.
Adjust for condition
Take 5 to 10% off for a missing box and 5% for a missing cap. Batch codes that match the box add confidence and help a bottle sell.
Look at the shelf
Every fragrance page shows the lowest and median price currently listed. Pricing within 10% of the lowest listing sells fastest.
Discontinued and vintage
Rare bottles can sell above their old retail price. Check recent listings and leave room for offers.
Worked example
A 100 ml bottle that retails at $180 new, 70% full, with its box: $180 × 0.8 × 0.7 = about $101. Without the box, ask around $93. The home page lets you slide the fill line on real bottles to try it.
Tips that sell bottles
Respond quickly to build trust
Buyers can message you from any listing. Answer within a day: quick replies win offers and better reviews. Payment talk stays on Feelings of Scent, and messages that ask for Venmo, Zelle or Cash App are blocked because those payments are not protected.
Use your batch codes
Type the code from the bottle and the code from the box. When they match, buyers see it. When they differ, say why in your notes.
Promote when you want more eyes
Promoted listings appear in sponsored spots across the site. You choose a rate from 2% to 8% and pay it only if the bottle sells.

- Shipping outside the US or to APO, FPO and DPO addresses
